Image requirements
Please provide images of your work on a CD or flash drive.

Please provide accompanying info sheet to include corresponding titles, medium, size, price...etc].

Format: For optimal viewing, images should be in high quality JPEG format, as close to the following size requirements as possible. We recommend a maximum size of 1000 pixels in the longest dimension, with a resolution of 300 ppi. Important: please adjust the ppi of images before adjusting the pixel size.

You may send several new images throughout the year for free and with renewed membership in 1 year you may again send up to 15. [If you wish to have old work removed, or your art is no longer available due to sales, let us know so we can remove images from your page and from database. If you wish to build your portfolio we will keep all images in your portfolio as is, and may also mark individual pieces; sold work can remain online and archived indefinitely.

Please let us know, if you wish to mark individual pieces as "sold" or as “available in print”. You may, if you wish, specify ownership info on particular works and we will be sure to note "in the collection of..." in the tag or near the image.

All images on NorthernFront will be given "alt-tags" specifying your name and your copyright.

Personal data files may include: a brief artist statement, biography or other!

Full contact and personal info…I suggest updates to this content periodically.

You may link to Additional Web Sites from your page, ***Let us know if you know a website that will link to your page, and we'll return the favor and link to theirs.

Levels of Service/ Commissions/ Terms of service: one year  

Art representation -

To be an Advertising Artist on NorthernFront – or an ‘Associate’ for one (1) year— $75 a year. 25% NF Commission applied to any sales made, arranged and/or carried out by NorthernFront. With associate ad:  Limited representation online (home page ad with or w/o link to another web), limited exhibiting opportunities.

Any non-member artist represented by NF is subject to 30% commission on all sales (*Commission applies to any sales made, arranged by, and/or carried out by NorthernFront.)

Portfolio Membership and Artist Collective-
Portfolio Membership starts at $75 for one (1) year. NF commission: 20% from sales, applied to any sales made, arranged by, and/or carried out by NorthernFront. Includes: Digital portfolio, participation in member shows, representation and marketing opportunities.

Shipping -- The artist is responsible for shipping their own art [shipping charges are billed to the customer; you will be reimbursed for your expenses when the sale is complete. All sales are made by NorthernFront]

Our File Convention:
We assign Digital Portfolios to visual artists and photographers in the order they are purchased. Artists are assigned an "Artwall"; photographers are assigned a "Photog" page. Your basic URL will be created according to the following convention:

Customization*
your portfolio can be custom made to your specifications. Let's discuss your custom changes  *[including alteration of file convention, additional text docs, page arrangement, categorization of images, inclusion of downloadable résumé, excessive data space, non-default image holders, landing pages, or any other custom built pages and graphics, etc. updates.

Making Purchases

To purchase items seen on NorthernFront, PLEASE inquire by phone or email. We will respond as soon as possible to discuss payment and shipping arrangements. PLEASE provide art title, artist's name, and a brief description of the art piece so there will be no confusion in the order. All original artworks are signed and dated [some front and back] by the artist; all art will arrive at your home, ready to hang out of the box. Some works include a Certificate of Authenticity and/ or a quote or story behind its creation.

For all purchase transactions, we prefer PayPal. We can email you a PayPal Invoice or you can go directly to the PayPal web site at www.paypal.com, but shipping will not occur until payment confirmation has been made. You do not need to have credit card as PayPal works with either a credit card or a checking account. Click here to visit PayPal or read the following:

Here's how to make your payment using PayPal:

1. Go to the PayPal web site at www.paypal.com

2. Click "Send Money" near the top of the page just below the main set of tabs.  The tabs are immediately below the word PayPal.

3. Enter our email address:  reidman8@yahoo.com and your email address.

4. Enter the payment amount (we do not accept installments) and click any category under purchase tab.

5. If you already have an account, log in to PayPal  and type in the required information then click continue/submit.

6. If you do not have an account, type in the required information, click agree, and then click continue/submit.

7. Review the payment details and click "Continue."

8. Review the details of the payment including the Payment Method. Click "Change" to make any edits.

9. Click "Send Money" to complete the transaction. 

Personal checks/ money orders If you wish to purchase artwork by check or money order, CALL US.  Note: your check must clear before we ship any merchandise.

Sales tax All sales are charged 6% sales tax as prescribed by Wyoming state statutes.

Shipping & Handling -- policies

• **Published prices do not include Shipping/Handling charges. Fees are added at time of purchase  (fees vary per item: we consider weight, medium, scale, destination of your purchase and cost to insure).

• **payment must be made received prior to shipping. Shipping will occur one [1] day after payment confirmation. Guarantee: your purchase[s] fully inspected for quality, our evaluation is recorded prior to shipping

• **Shipping costs are directly related to the weight of the package. We factor in handling costs to cover packing materials, shipping insurance and any special considerations that may be required.  There’s no charge for picking up your order in person.

• **We’ll inform you when your order ships, the carrier, and the tracking number with the estimated time of arrival. Please, let us know the work has arrived safely and that you are happy with your purchase.

• ** If you believe your package is lost, please call or email us immediately, and we will do our best to track it down immediately. We will immediately notify the carrier via phone (1-800-PICK-UPS, or 1-800-GO-FEDEX) and initiate a claims process on the lost or damaged package.  If you call the carrier, please notify us. We encourage you to carefully track your package and contact us if anything seems amiss with progress of the shipment;

• **Packaging - we are experts at crating works of art, taking extra care to assure no damage occurs. Shipping Insurance is purchased. You are not liable for artwork until it is in your possession.

 **SHIPPING OPTIONS every customer has different requirements -- We wish to offer you a choice when it comes to your shipping options. 

Returns
Our 7 Day to Return/ 30 days to Refund Policy: If you’re not satisfied, or your product has been damaged in shipment, please contact us immediately. We will gladly refund the cost of your item, or replace any defective or damaged items within 30 days of receipt of your order, but you have only 7 days after receiving your item to notify us of damages and return it to us. Refunds will be made only after we receive item. You will be responsible for return shipping. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 15% of the order. All returns must be near to original condition, remain unaltered and will not be disassembled, with the exception of damages incurred in shipping. Please consult with us immediately after receipt and prior to returning any item[s]. We'll then contact you as soon as possible. Instructions:

·         Carefully repackage your item[s] in original packaging and send it back. 

·         Once we have received your return, inspected it, and verified that your return meets the above guidelines, a refund for the sales amount will be issued.

·         All applicable sales taxes will be refunded.  Shipping charges are non-refundable.

·         Any alteration or improper use of original artwork will void this warranty. Warranty is limited, at our option, to replacement, repair, or credit of the defective merchandise. The determination of all warranty claims will be at the sole discretion of NorthernFront.

***The cost of shipping will be credited only in those instances where the return is a result of damage or our error only. All unauthorized / un-notified returns, will be refused and returned.

  • We offer the use of artwork, originals or Giclées, for terms of up to ninety days. Rates based on a monthly fee and prorated for the period of time the artwork is out of our possession. Shipping, packaging, insurance and handling costs are not included in the leasing rates and will be quoted separately. Short Term Leasing Rates are determined at the time the artwork is selected by the client and will be quoted at that time. Some factors that affect the lease rate of the artwork include the size, the artist, the edition size, whether the piece is framed, the rarity of the art and/or whether an original is requested. Any piece ordered is available framed or unframed. Please allow ten business days minimum for your order to be shipped. All art is insured during the lease period and while shipping. "Artists of the Northern Front"

NorthernFront.net showcases a 'collective' of professional, emerging and mid-career artists, photographers, and craftspeople— not a co-op, but a "collective" of independent, but like-minded artists, each with different goals & objectives.

A unique cross-section of visual art, the collective overflows with astonishing artistic vision, our artists work in many mediums and genres, from traditional landscapes to expressionistic figurative painting; our photographers use both digital and traditional film technologies.

What links us together is our creative spirit; we're motivated by a common interest in art and issues related to the production and presentation of art locally, regionally and nationally. NorthernFront exhibits the work of the collective, along with other local artists online and around the town and region.

As for a ‘stylistic connection’—each of us are very different artists. However, the question of “style” on which NorthernFront artists perch, I defer to a ‘regionalist’ approach. Though we’re particularly isolated in SE Wyoming, artists in the Rocky Mountain west in general appreciate the hold that “western art” has had on our imaginations. If our ‘character’ has been proclaimed by the likes of Charles Russell and Frederic Remington, then we’re certainly not above painting in that vein—it has colored our artistic vocabulary; yet, western art is more than cowboys and cattle. The vitality of the west today lies in a much broader picture of society, history and culture. As contemporary western artists, our work must bridge the gap between dominant art movements operating in American metropolitan areas and long held conceptions of western art that remain near and dear to Americans and are still a fixture in many a Wyoming gallery today. As a business, NorthernFront showcases art that retains its romantic grasp on the imagination with validity and meaning in the context of the larger art world and—we refer to it as “Contemporary Art of the West”.

Our reach along the Northern Front Range, from Casper, WY to Denver, CO. means ‘connecting’ with other art communities and reaching out to people like you. In pursuing a healthy, vibrant art scene throughout Wyoming, we’re glad to exhibit our work in distant towns; meeting other artists and arts organizations motivates us— we’re limited only by our lack of wings.
