Bio

Born in Chicago in 1946.Received a B.F.A from the University of Chicago in 1968 and returned to school receiving a MFA from the  University of Wyoming in1991.Worked for the University of Wyoming Art Museum as a preparator and presenter of the Art Mobile Educational Program and then taught for the University of Wyoming Art Department for 10 years 1996 – 2007 (drawing, sculpture, and studio survey). Retired in 2007, from teaching and now works full time in studio, in Laramie WY

M.F.A. University of Wyoming, 1991. Program included work in painting, (oil and watercolor), print making, photography and sculpture. Thesis title, ”Picturing Pattern.”

B.F.A. University of Chicago, 1968. Intensive program included work in graphics, painting, ceramics, sculpture, drawing and Art history. Minor in Art Education.

2002 - 2007 Assistant Lecturer, University of Wyoming Art Dept. teaching Drawing, Sculpture and Studio Survey classes1996- 2002, Instructor of Drawing & Sculpture, University of Wyoming.

1991-1996 - University of Wyoming Art Museum, Assistant Curator. Responsibilities with both the Art Mobile, which presents a traveling exhibition to schools and institutions in the state, and with in-house exhibition preparation.

1989-1991-University of Wyoming Art Museum, Preparator (part-time while earning M.F.A.). Responsible for exhibit preparation, collection registration, Art Mobile assistance and photography.

1989, 1990, 1991, 1992 - Art Director of Pony Express Club, a weekly summer program organized by the University of Wyoming Apartments Office and funded by the Wyoming Council for the Humanities.

1968-1970 - School District No. 54, Schaumburg, Ill. Art Consultant for grades K-6
