"Dad Milking Cow," acrylic As a Nebraska farm girl I dreamed the thunderclouds were mountains.  I wanted to live where mountains were real.  I moved to the mountains in the early 1960’s.  Now I am in my early 60’s and I’m remembering the “old days” on the farm.  I’m remembering the good times, the people, and my dad milking the cows, my Great-uncle Jake in his flower gardens, the chickens, and the rooster that used to chase me across the yard.
