Dennis Fonfara
A
classically trained figurative artist, Fonfara's formal education
includes the Detroit Society for Arts & Crafts (now the Center
for Creative Studies), the University of Michigan and the
University of Wyoming. In addition, he has advanced studies in
lithography, bronze casting and mold making, and has served an
apprenticeship with Zubel Kachadoorian {http://www.askart.com/AskART/artists/biography.aspx?artist=109960}.
His most recent work explores the interactions between the individual
and his environment and the individual and society. His works are in a
number of private collections both in the United States
and abroad.
Fonfara is a member of
the Society of Figurative Arts (SOFA) based in Laramie,
