Artist's Statement Almost a half century ago I was infected with the art virus; I'm still looking for the cure. I don't have a philosophy about art; it's more of a treatment plan. Creating has a therapeutic effect on body, mind, and spirit. Art is the way I work out the normal inner conflicts black- white, good-evil, yin-yang, paper- plastic, etc. I've been tapping into myth, legends, folklore, and fairy tales as reference material.
